Growing up, I have always been drawn to water sports. Whether it was boogie boarding, water skiing, tubing or boating. There always seem to be something fun to do on the water with my friends.
Then I had my first Jet Ski experience. It was exhilarating…...pure adrenaline…....I knew I had to have one.
So I drove to New Jersey and bought a brand new Kawasaki 550. Finally, my own personal jet ski, well at least after 36 monthly payments.
It was the stand up version, not the sit down waverunners you see today. After all, I had to be consistent with what my friends had.
I remember packing lunches and hitting the water on the weekends. You wouldn’t see us for hours and hours.
It was just great…..talking, riding and sharing good times. There was just something about being on the water that kept us out there for that long and we all knew it.

I still have that Jet Ski (doesn’t run), the same friends and more importantly, the memories that we continue to reminisce about. I would not give that up for the world.
